Georek sat there on his favorite barrel when all of a sudden, children ran up to him and asked him to tell a story. Georek could never, and I mean never, let down the children when it comes to storytelling. So Georek, started by saysing"OK! Youngones, this is the story of the first Dwarf." He cleared his throat and began."Now many years ago, there where seven gods. These gods where of different things. One was of water, and one of fire. One was of air,and on of animals. One was of people, and one of trees. But the greatest of all the gods was Gratylor, the god of stone. Now Gratylor, was envied by all the others for one main thing. He could make the most wanderful statues, due to his stone shaping abilities.Sure, the water god had the waves, and the fire god had lava, which he needed help from the stone god to make the volcanoes. Theair god had twisters, and the peoples god had people. The animla god had animals, and the tree god had tall trees which are nice and all. But none of these things even compared to the statues. So one day all the other gods set out to destroy the statues. The gods all used their powers to make them all shattere into peices. Gratylor, with his love of thse statues, had his last statue enchanted by a witch, whom he never had trusted before. He thought this enchantment would put a sheild over the statue, but instead somthing odd happened to it. The other gods found it, and destroyed it. But when they destroyed it, the pieces joined together and became a creature. This creature was like none other, smarter and better looking than an elf and braver than a human, but this creature shorter that most other things. The shortness only made it better. Gratylor looked upon it, and said"My Dwarf."which is what he called it, a Dwarf." The children then said"Thankyou Mister Georek!" and of coarse he answered by saying"Next time I'll tell you the one about Why Dwarfs have beards."

Taryn stood far enough away to here the story without the man noticing completely. She waited and listened, engaged just as the children were. It wasn't often these days that she had the opportunity to hear an old tale, yet alone one from that of a Dwarf. She nodded along, regonizing similarities from those that the high elves of her village had told, and laughed sliently as the man talked about being smarter than elves. After the story finished, she walked forward and approached the man.
"Captivating story elder. An entertaining story for children and travelers alike. I thank you."

Georek looked over at the elf saying"What brings you here, elf? Oh,and by the way, you are welcome, I enjoy telling stories to all the youngsters out there."

She looked down at him, and turned to see if her horse was still in view. Good, she thought. The poor beast had been travelling a lot lately and she was concerned. "I'm a tracker..." She trailed off. "Well, I can track. Lately I've just been wandering and stopped by for some rest."

He then says"Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed it, but tell me this, Why is an Elf at my home and at my workshop? Is there jewelry that you request to be made?"
